Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
Here's my first single lens reflex digital camera. What I ordered was a Rebel XT kit with an EFS 17-85mm zoom lens.
Canon PowerShot S500 DIGITAL ELPH
Small, light, pocketable, point-and-shoot 5 megapixel digital camera.

Canon WS-20 Wrist Strap
Canon's WS-20 Wrist Strap, for me, is a joy to use because with the camera on my wrist, it makes it that much easier to grab and take a shot and to be able to position the camera in such a way that I couldn't normally do with the neck strap.
Lowepro Rezo 170 AW Shoulder Bag
CaThe Lowepro Rezo 170 AW Shoulder Bag is a high quality product, compared to what I had before. It is durable and provides adaquate protection for my camera gear.
Lenses
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
The widest, fastest lens available and being somewhat affordable is Canon's EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens.
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
In the past, longer exposures with a telephoto lens of this range required the use of a monopod/tripod but, with Canon's EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM image stabilizer, you can almost get away without using any supports.
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Canon's EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM is a solid, impressively built lens. It's wide depth of field allows objects/subjects to be clearly in focus from a few feet away to infinity.
Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
With a 5X zoom range, it covers the very wide to moderate telephoto. For general photography with the Digital Rebel XT, it happens to be the ideal all around lens for me.

Bogen / Manfrotto 484RC2 Mini Ballhead with Rapid Connect 2 (Quick Release)
Bogen / Manfrotto's 484RC2 Mini Ballhead is not as mini is I expected. From the base to the surface of the mounting plate, it stands just short of 4" which will add that much more to the height of the monopod, transforming the compact monopod into one that is not so compact.
Bogen / Manfrotto 728B Digi Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head
Since my only experience with ballheads is the mini 484RC2, I find that Bogen / Manfrotto's 486RC2 Compact Ballhead is not all that compact. From the base to the surface of the mounting plate, it's about the same height as the 484RC2 (just short of 4").
Monopods/Unipods
Bogen / Manfrotto 680B Compact 4-Section Monopod/Unipod (Black)
The Bogen/Manfrotto 680B is a solid monopod, and I like the quality of the construction. It is compact in size, due to its 4-section leg, allowing you to carry it anywhere and it easily fits in a carry on luggage. My primary reason for buying this monopod was for use with my Sony DCR-TRV950 digital camcorder.
Velbon UP-40 Compact 4-Section Monopod/Unipod
The Velbon UP-40 4-section monopod is a nice accessory for my digital compact camcorder and DSLR camera and it is my first monopod ever. It is small (18.3" folded) yet it extends to 61". The UP-40's lightweight makes it easy to take it with you anywhere.
Tripods
Bogen / Manfrotto 728B Digi Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head
This is a 4-section tripod with a 3-way pan/tilt head with quick release. The leg sections are constructed from tubular aluminum (black anodized finish) and has three facets (in other words, a round tube with three flat sides).
